Rae aspired to become a tattooer beginning in grade 6. All of the subsequent years of school were spent pursuing and refining her art skills. Courses including; Advanced Art I & II, Honors Drawing & Painting, and AP Studio Art. She graduated high school with a completer course in the Visual Fine Arts program from The Arts, Humanities, & Communication Academy.

 

" I began as a client of Don, on my 18th birthday through a recommendation. I immediately felt comfortable with the shop environment and we decided to pursue my apprenticeship at Emmitsburg Tattoo Company.  I began my part-time apprenticeship in November 2018, beginning full-time January 2019. Spring 2019 I officially began pursuing the craft of tattooing, becoming my own first client. 2020 saw the end of my apprenticeship, officially entering into next stage of my career.
